Strider buster

The Magnusson Device, otherwise known as "The Strider Buster" is a Resistance weapon developed by Arne Magnusson, a small mine of sorts that can be thrown onto a Strider via Gravity Gun, and upon sticking to the tripod will begin to drain its heath via drawing power from its own internal power source, In-game the device will stick as long as it contacts the Strider's body, and will be destroyed instantly when it is fired upon by any of the players weapons.

It is also noted that in-game the Hunter that is encountered in Episode 2, is mainly used for escourting striders will take the strider buster as a priority target to destory or knock out of the players possesion.
