Minerva
Minerva is a highly-regarded singleplayer modification for the PC version of Valve Software's Half-Life 2 video game. Minerva was released in three installments. The first was released to immediate acclaim in September 2005. Part two was released in March 2006, and the complete mod including all three parts was released on 2nd October 2007 through the mod's home page at http://www.hylobatidae.org/minerva.
The mod is the work of developer Adam Foster, with additional music by Joseph Toscano. Foster commonly posts on internet forums using the name "Cargo Cult" and runs a blog relating to Minerva development which allows comments from fans, known as "acolytes" due to the semi-religious overtones of the mod's motif, which references ancient Roman mythological characters.
The mod is available from its home page on Foster's website and also directly through Steam, Valve's content delivery platform.
