Dr. Gina Cross is 31 years of age with level 4 security clearance at Black Mesa. She is a Caltech graduate with a Ph.D. in applied physics, bioengineering, and mechanical engineering.

So far Gina Cross have made three appearances in the Half-Life universe. First was in the original Half-Life as Gordon Freeman's holographic trainer during the Hazard Course. Though she was more recognized in Half-Life: Decay as an playable character alongside Doctor Colette Green set during the time of the original game. Third, you can see her push the crystal into an elevator when watching her, as Barney Calhoun, from the secruity room in Blue Shift.

Colette Green, Gina Cross and Dr. Richard Keller's ultimate fate is unknown even to this day.

• Kathy Levin provided the voice for Gina Cross in the original game. She was also the voice announcer during the tram ride in the beginning of the game.
