Creating a New Page

Here is a step by step guide on how to create a new HL2.net Wiki page.

1 - Use the search feature (top right corner) to search for the exact title of the page you want to create. This wiki is case sensitive so try to be sure you have your capitalisation's correct.

2 - The search results will tell you that this page does not exist. Click the "create this page" link.

3 - Add content to your page. The buttons above the text box have various useful function, you can use the "Show Preview" button to experiment.

4 - It is usually a good idea to add your page to one or more category. To do this add [[Category:your category]] to the end of your page. Replace "your catagory" with a Category listed on the Categories page. For example the most common category is the Glossary, so to add a page to the Glossary category [[Category:Glossary]] is added to the bottom of it.

Remember that the wiki is case sensitive so make sure you get the capitalisation for your desired category right. To add your page to multiple categories repeat this process.
