Black Box

The "Black Box" refers to a cancelled [1] game package which was going to be released by Valve.

Games that would have been included are:

• Half-Life 2: Episode 2
• Portal
• Team Fortress 2

These games will now only be available via the Orange Box and Steam. It is speculated that the Black Box was cancelled to encourage customers to use Steam [2].
