Advisor pod

An advisor pod is a specially bred synth, whose sole duty is protection and preservation of advisors during an evacuation. Its construction is fairly simple for a Combine synth - a large engine mounted in its aft section, a protective shell bearing the Combine emblem and a large space for carrying the advisor into safety, which can be obstructed by an elastic, but extremely tough, synth shell.

Pods are kept in a special chamber within the Citadel, which is lit in red and always on standby in the case an unlikely disaster strikes and the advisors need to be evacuated. It also seems that each pod has a unique serial or identification number.
