Truly insane, but he earns points in being so lethal. The pyro, is a red
demon set loose in Team Fortress to barbeque all he can find. He is armed
with a formidable flamethrower which licks it's enemies up in a coat of
flames, slowly burning them to death if not causing an instant fatality.
The pyro wears a flame retardant suit and gas mask, so is always free of
that burning sensation, however he does have a shotgun for other situations
or a mean looking fire axe (which double up as a guitar). The pyro is the
worse person to meet in a corridor, especially if you are a spy as he will

| Default Weapons Primary: Flamethrower Ammo loaded and carried: 200 The pyro's main form of attack is lighting enemies on fire and burning them continually with the flamethrower. While in its short range, it does a great deal of damage but even after the foe will continue to burn. The secondary fire of the flamethrower is a compressed air blast (using 25 ammo), which can be used to push back enemies, redirect projectiles or extinguish flames on team mates. Secondary: Shotgun Ammo loaded and carried: 6 | 32 A normal shotgun, which should be used on enemies after they escape the short range of the flamethrower. Also ideal for attacking other Pyro's due to flames doing much less damage to them. Melee: Fire Axe A hard hitting axe, which does high damage. Most importantly, taunting with the axe the pyro uses it as a guitar. This is necessary after killing an opponent. Unlockable Weapons Primary: Backburner Ammo loaded and carried: 200 The backburner works in a similar way to the flamethrower, with the major difference being that any attacks from behind an enemy will result in critical hit flames doing x 3 the damage. Ideal for sneaking up on enemies. Unfortunately, this bonus sacrifices the air blast capability of the flamethrower. Secondary: Flare Gun Ammo loaded and carried: 1 | 16 This little gun replaces the shotgun and simply shoots a small flare towards the enemy doing little damage. With the enemy on fire, the after burn does most of the damage. Useful for camping snipers, as the burn will interfere with their aim. Melee: Axtinguisher This modified fire axe give a guaranteed critical hit to any enemy it hits which is already on fire. However it does only 50% of the damage the fire axe does to non-burning enemies. Other details: Special Taunt: The Hadouken taunt with the shotgun / flare gun will instantly kill anyone. Spy checking: By flicking the flamethrowers flame around, the pyro can ignite cloaked spies nearby easily. Hat: Beanie hat with a small propeller blade on top.
