SPOTLIGHT - NEW SITE!
Welcome to our newly designed website created by our very own Yorick. There's been a big reshuffle and lots of new content added so check it all out!
Gameplay Modes
There are now six different ways to play Left 4 Dead 2.

Singleplayer

You can battle your way through the campaigns alongside three AI-controlled Survivors against more AI-controlled Infected. Perfect if you don't have friends or just generally don't get on with people online.

Campaign
You need to work together with three other human-controlled team-mates to take on the role of the Survivors and survive the zombie apocalypse by escaping to safety.

Versus
This is the true full game with two teams of humans battling against each other as Survivors and Infected bosses. The two teams switch spots after each map or after the Survivors are killed off. This continues all the way until the finale map is completed for both sides, at which point the final score is shown and one team is declared the winner.

Survival
In survival Mode survivors must compete against endless hoards of zombies. Game rounds will increase in difficulty over time, as well as increasing zombie numbers. Survival mode will also have 'lull' moments for teams to reload, relocate for ammo, heal or seek out new items. Survivor mode promises a true challenge to Left 4 Dead 2 players.

Scavenge
With maps centred around a vehicle or generator which requires refuelling, survivors must move around an enclosed map and collect fuel cans to fill up the fuel tank. This mode is a 4v4 game mode where the survivors are fighting against the special infected controlled by other human players. Fuel cans once picked up and dropped can be detonated by a spitter spitting on them. Each round lasts 2 minutes and each fuel can you collect adds time to the clock, while the infected do their best to stop the survivors.

Realism
Valve realised many players play together with the same friend group and become very successful as a team, and so realism mode was created to make things more tricky. There will be no player outlines, no item highlighting, headshots kill zombies quickly (body shots require many more bullets), lots of witches which will you instantly and less health along the way. Realism mode will offer a major challenge but isn't just expert mode as you can play this mode on easy, normal or advanced too.
