The Hives

At first I was pretty indifferent to these, and in fact their type of music but the more I listen to them...The more I can't stop

I really do like their music a rather unhealthy amount.

They're pretty catchy, but I can only listen to a few songs in a row before getting sick of it.

The whole garage revival scene is a little stale IMO (strokes, vines, hives, etc.) You should check out the Veils if you haven't already. Good stuff.

Veils. I'l make a point of doing that.

I think, my enjoyment of these is that the type of music is the kind which I can listen to, whatever mood I'm in. Like kage said, its catchy, and so for me I can just turn it on and enjoy it.

Man, I LOVE the hives! Best band around right now. I really like "Two timing touch and broken bones" and "Die, all right!". "Hate to say I told you so" is also very good.

With all these new bands I feel like im in a time warp, they all sound so old .

Can't stand these guys. Every single song I've heard they use the same goddamn riff...
