What Are You Watching?

Lately I've been watching:

Flash Forward - Series based on a book where everyone on Earth saw the future for about two minutes
Stargate Universe - new replacement for the Stargate Atlantis series
Curb Your Enthusiasm - HBO comedy featuring the writer of Seinfeld, as himself.
Important Things With Demetri Martin - Stand Up Comedian gets his own show.
I had been watching Mad Men, but I'm taking a break from it.

I thought it wold be a good idea to see what everyone is watching. Anything good?

Dexter, of course. Can't wait for Breaking Bad to start up again. Other than that, the only thing I've been keeping up with much lately is It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia which is absolutely hilarious. I'll be watching Weeds when the new season starts but frankly I'm dangerously close to the precipice of not giving a **** about that show anymore...

I saw a few episodes of Dexter and liked it, but I just won't allow myself to watch it unless I start from the very beginning. Same thing with Breaking Bad and Weeds. I guess that goes for any series.

Don't bother with Weeds. Dexter is great, and all of the seasons before this one are pretty great, so I'd definitely recommend starting from the beginning. Same with Breaking Bad, albeit the latter only has two painfully short seasons to watch. I would definitely say to make it a priority before the new season begins.

I thought you loved Weeds. I guess it really took a dive. Anyway, I don't want any spoilers, I've only watched all of season 1.

Weeds is good, but to say it's taken a nosedive in terms of entertainment value over the past few seasons is an understatement. Dexter on the other hand only seems to get better.

Nothing. D:

Actually, I watched the first episode of The Wire Season 2 the other night. I was taking a break from an essay crisis, and just...it was really nice to be back in that world. I realised that somehow, incredibly, impossibly, The Wire - of all things! - has become comfort viewing for me. Sure, it's comfort viewing that requires constant attention and constructive intelligence to follow. But that's a kind of challenge I can handle and that I sink into gratefully like a man into a hot bath after a long day. Oh, McNulty. I'm glad to see you again.

Sons of Anarchy - Everyone should watch this. Seriously.
Dexter- Like everyone else
Supernatural - It's cool. Liked the early seasons best.
Dollhouse - when I got the time.
True Blood - Only vampire show that don't make me want to claw my eyes out.

All good shows, for different reasons.

Sons of Anarchy and Dexter pretty religiously.
House, NCIS, The Big Bang Theory, Dollhouse, and The Office when I remember.

And I'm in the middle of a Lost marathon because I want to catch up on all 5 seasons before the 6th airs.

The Long Way Round

Weird seeing the real side of Ewan McGregor.

Just a great documentary about riding, basically, across the world in as straight of a line as possible.

Really getting into it.
