How to ..
.. cut out a " scene " from a movie? I did a print screen and pasted in Photoshop.. When i saved it and opend it , it was just a black screen :S

Open media player, goto Tools -> Options, then click on the Performance thingy at the top. Do you see the Video acceleration slider? Drag that to "none".
try to take a printscreen now. Did it work? |

You can export a image from quicktime with Files -> Export then Movie to BMP

i've got a plugin for Quicktime that allows me to take screenies with control and c, dunno what it is tho :S

As long as u don't resize the QT player, you can take the screenshot.
And you can do the lil more troublesome way that is to use Adobe Premiere and export the frame. |
