Ur missing the point entirely. The point is that valve made a really great equation for physics. Now some Doctor h4x0r wants to steal it and post the shit all over the frikken place. He is pretty much saying, if its scientific it should be public knowledge.
F*CK HIM!!! LET HIM SPEND FIVE F*CKIN YEARS IN VALVE OFFICE WORKING HIS ASS OFF TO FIGURE IT OUT HIMSELF!!! AND BTW, IF HAVOK IS PHYSICAL WHY ISNT HE SUEING THEM. ITS SCIENTIFIC!! BASTARD!!! I don't care if the equation is ground breaking or not, as long as valve created it, he should have rights. I don't think valve are breaking new ground in the world of physics - I think they just want to protect their baby.
Equally, if they have found the holy grail of physics by some weird coincidence then they should out the knowledge, as it is of public interest. For now it ends up as a suing contest between two parties...
