I hope the in-game music isn't as annoying as the website music. Looks promising nonetheless.

I love the websites music.
Very remenescent of Ghost in the Shell... then again, that is what the game is based on.

When I joined the team and got the alpha build I was blown away by the quality of the models/textures/sound/music, I am very confident neotokyo will be a huge hit when it releases. I noticed the leaders dont do much promoting and tbh I dont think they need to, but talk of a trailer is in the works as soon as we get some maps completed which are progressing nicely.

Is that HDR in the screens?

One of the mappers*

But, yes, I'm looking forward to seeing DJB's work and I've recently re-discovered this Mod too (along with others such as Badge of Blood that I'd forgotten about since I first did my Mod Watching research almost a year ago). The music is stunning (for the whiners - you can turn it off, hit the volume button) and I just know that this will be worth the inevitable wait.

It has not be decided yet if we will use hdr since they have coded their own bloom mod for neotokyo. The bloom mod is less hardware intensive and looks just as good (maybe even better) than valves hdr. Last I heard was we may offer both to players and let them decide but thats still up in the air.

actually no offical map screens have been shown yet (still wip) but the ones on the website are just sandbox maps (for testing). Neotokyo has an interview coming up with mod hq soon and I was asked to get some media shots ready so we should have something from the mapping department to show soon.

Actually none of my previous work really comes close to the amount of detail/effort I am putting into my work for neotokyo. These guys are pros and I am taking my work to a new level because of it but heres a link to my website and a map i recently completed for the upcoming vip mod.
Cheers.

Almost all of their artwork is worthy of a wallpaper and their screens are fantastic. Neotokyo is on my list.

God i love their art direction. Everything they make looks like it was thought of by an artist, engineer, AND graphic designer.

do you think theres any way we could have a seperate forum for this like the other three? after all it is one of the biggest upcoming mods. theres so much content there.

Released mods get their own section. Upcoming mods don't.
