i just got a new case from tigerdirect store and i transferred all the components already. it works perfectly, but i want the front led lights to turn on. there is a cable for the lights but its too short to connect to the motherboard. what should i do?

they shouldnt have to connect to the motherboard they should connect to molex

The connectors that come from the power supply. They are the 4 pin ones that plug into hard drives and most other system devices.

no, it is not the molex, its 2 pin connector. squarish looking.

Sounds like it plugs into the motherboard and not into the PSU. In fact, I know what you're talking about. I guess you're SOL buddy.

No, I have the same thing. The lights on my x-dreamer dont use a molex 4-pronged cable, but the power supply should have a cable that fits into the plug from the lights. If I didnt have to go, I would get a pic and show you. Maybe tomorrow if I get a chance.

ok, cool, ill post a pic of the connector tmr too. im kinda working on my englsih project right now. :frown:
