Power Metal

Can some people give me some good Power Metal bands to listen to? I've listened to Nightwish a million times. Is there any other Bands of Power metal that you would recommend??

I don't have a wide knowledge of Power Metal, but the more popular bands like:

Blind Guardian
Iced Earth
Dragonforce
Gamma Ray
Helloween
Sonata Arctica
Kamelot

... are a good place to start.

You can also try some Falconer and Elvenking, possibly Ensiferum (has some growled vocals but is still very powery), The Lord Weird Slough Feg, Persuader (they're great if you like Blind Guardian), and some of the later Vintersorg stuff, in addition to the ones Axyon mentioned. The ones I listed are slightly more on the fringes of power metal (save the first two), but you should like them well enough.

Stratovarious are awesome, Sonata Arctica are ftw!! (Both finnish therefore uber)
Dragonforce are good but a little overrated imo get them.

What he said, especially Blind Guardian are :thumbs: , each of their songs is very unique.

And check out Rhapsody, Stratovarius, Zonata and Kenziner. Those 2 last are swedish power metal bands (they sing in English though), they both existed only for 2 years, released 2 albums and were disbanded. I doubt you'll find any of their songs (there are a few in p2p masked as Sonata Arctica but still hard to find), I bought them at mp3search.ru for 0.90$/album :D
