Best Fictional Weapon Ever?...

So what do you think the best fictional gaming weapon throughout gaming history is?

I thought about a Poll, but id rather people just say what they liked best, im sure the list is massive.

First to mind is the gravity gun :P, It far outstrips anything in terms of uniqueness and interactivity.. but that doesnt have to make it the best

So to avoid gravity gun 111! post's, let's mix this up a bit..

Rather than just say "this is the best because" everyone give the weapon/weapons of choice a rating out of 10 in 3 catagory's

feel, look, and overall coolness, giving a max possible rating of 30. and then comment on all three catagory's

Then as an addition... say which ficitional weapon youd give the award for sheer sillyness to.

- Feel: How more badass can you get? This weapon feels like the Super gravity gun from Half-Life 2. It can take out pretty much every enemy in the game pretty quick, even the bosses. Although the ammo isn't impressive (99 max) and the ammo disappear quickly. 8,5/10

Plasma Gun from Doom 3

- Feel: Pretty decent damage ratio, thankfully it can fire 50 shots before you have to reload. Probably the only weapon in Doom 3 that feels good when you shoot with it. 7,5/10

- Look: Pretty good, the best bit is the screen were you can see the ammo count. Cool reloadanimation as well. 8/10

- Overall coolness: 8/10

They aren't the coolest EVER, but some of the better F.E.A.R. weapons are eeexcellent.
I mean, the 10mm HV Penetrator- fires spikes into guys, pins them to walls, spikes STAY IN while they are ALIVE! And then there's the MP50 Repeating Cannon, awesome name, kind of stupid looking but it's actually an awesome gun. And all the other guns too.

The Ball Primitive weapons from Tron 2.0. Neat sounds, neat animation, and they slowly corrupt the opponent after you hit them.

Black hole weapons are fun (Singularity cannon from Unreal II and Dark Matter weapon from Quake 4) are cool. I'd probably have to vote for the Singularity cannon because it's organic looking, and it sounds like it retches up the next shot after you fire.

Spore launcher from Opposing Force. Powerful regular shot, dangerously fun alt fire, hilarious reload animation, cute and cuddly(?) idle animation. You know it's the best gun because he stroked it!

I would say the best fictional weapon ever was...

MEGA MAN and his arm that shoots bullets, ice, fire, wind, plants, whatever the hell else you can think of, it could be upgraded to shoot it. You had to kill the boss and they you can retrofit your arm with their powers. The first MEGAMAN game was just normal guns, but by the time they got to MEGAMAN 12 they had some bizarre shit. lol

The Grav-gun would be my ultimate favorite if they added another feature. Imagine having an ability added to it that would allow you to grab every object within a certain area in front of you and then launch them all at once in one direction like a giant shot-gun? That would be sweet.

Yeah, especially when you were the alien. That weapon was so broadcast that a high jump to jump attack and you were all over them. I loved that weapon because it gave the Predators a false sense of ownage and chapped their hides when they got nailed. Very fun fight nonetheless. Predators skilled with the stick (actual name?) were, I found, the most formidable (or Predators careless with the plasma cannon).

The original thing was built out of a green shroud, M1 Thompson SMG, Remington shotgun and a SPAS combat shotgun cage. It really functioned; whenever the actors fired the attached 30 mm grenade launcher they actually fired a blank 12 gauge round.
In the movie, M41-A uses fictional 10 mm caseless armor-piercing rounds (although the weapon is seen ejecting cases in the movie).

You can aim up and down in Duke Nukem 3D, so yes you can kill yourself by accidentally shooting at the floor or ceiling.
I think PunisherUSA probably thought about the first Doom games in which, IIRC, you couldn't aim neither up nor down.

I believe the PrintScreen works in Duke3D, going on memory. Or it may have been a Function key, can't remember, but it is not 3D accelerated so it is fairly easy

Cool? Yes! Ficional? No. indeed, the only way to make the AK series cooler is the AKS-74U with red dot sight, supressor and supressed grenade launcher (I know that sounds silly, but its true!)
