CoD2 is really starting to p*** me off now !

Grrrr is all i can say tbh .... yesterday, i finally get CoD2 working and it was great, i come back from college today, and it cannot find any servers whatsoever, and when it does it takes ages to load up the select team menu ..... it cant be my firewall as i have disabled it so now i don't know ... anyone got any suggestions ?!?!?!?!?

By default at the top where it says "Source" its set to Local, and it needs to be on internet, maybe thats your problem?

Alt tab and check ur firewall see if its blocking things..

do a adware/spyware/virus scan. Also if you are behind a router & u have i noticed disabled ur firewall, it mite just be an idea to use port forwarding. It might just work.

Also, it worked fine yesterday and i am behind a firewall on a router, except i dont see why it would work yesterday and not today =/ ... plus the comp downstairs is also on a router and works fine with it :S

all i can say is to think clearly did you change any settings yesterday?

is your internet browser up to speed?

Reset your PC?

Might be a glitch in their server ATM or massive new user spike since they have been advertising the shit out of this game to co-incide with the 360 release its probably too many users for their feeble servers so just be patient and try tomorrow. Try in the earliest hours like 4:30 am

Aye, i upped the graphics and its weird, they run perfectly as i can join people via Xfire, but yeah, i'll try later and see how it goes.

If it was working yesterday, see if you can restore the system to yesterday's settings using system restore. You could also try reinstalling CoD2.
