FIFA is horrible. I played the demo a few weeks ago.

This means Pro Evo 5 should get at least 9.8 for the PC if FIFA managed 8.9.

football is a big part of my life and i played pes from 1996 (iss pro/we2 i think was the first i played) to 2005, and fifa occasionally.

I find the newer games less fun to play than the likes of Sensible Soccer, despite them becoming more and more lifelike than ever before. I have Pro Evo 4 for the XBox, and have tried to get into the swing of it, but it doesnt appeal to me at all. Maybe I should persist, or maybe I should keep playing HL2DM.... :upstare:

PES is a truly sublime game once you master the controls. Fifa, while a laugh for a quick kick aroud, really can't compare.

Pro Evolution Soccer 5, which is out for the pc on the 27th of October.

It's a sim, so take some time to get used to it. Also, download the trainer which expands the demo time limit to 30mins.

It's well worth getting an adapter that allows you to use a ps2 pad if you're planning on getting PES for the pc.
