My videocard is an Asus v9999 gamer edition, which is in fact a 6800 with 256mb. There's a program called Smartdoctor that comes with the card. With that, I can easily overclock and increase the memories, and it boost the in-game performance by about 5 to 15 fps.

However, after updating the drivers, I'm not able to use Smartdoctor anymore. Whenever I start the program, it just says "can not find info on the graphics card". I don't want to reinstall the previous drivers, becuz the new one fixe many bugs. But I just lost the ability to overclock the card. I would like to know whether there are other programs that can replace Smartdoctor. Thank you!

Apperently Rivatuner is a good tool to oc your cards, plus you can get it to restore teh new clocks when you start up your pc. Also, isn't there some patch you can download to allow you change the clock and mem speeds in the nvidia control panel.

I guess my problem is more serious than that, even rivertuner doesn't work. It cannot detect the clock frequency, I think that's why smartdoctor doesn't work, becuz it also can't detect my actual clock frequency.

That's a little option in rivertuner that's supposed to address the problem, but trying after that, it still doesn't work.

Yeah i have contacted them, but no reply yet.

WEll, i got the problem solved, I just reinstall the drivers from the installation cd and update it with the asus enhanced drivers and the last nvidia drivers, smartdoctor is working now, and i have tried to run few games, everything seem to be fine.

Except, my mediaplayer, quicktime, mediaplayer classic don't work anymore. Wierd!! I think i can fix that easily though.

Thanks everyone for you help !
