DODS
with my system specs, High everything, reflect all, 6xAA, 0xAF, HDR MAXED OUT, no vsync, 1024, 5.9s. im doing 30-50 fps in combat, anyone else have this issue?

im not complaining, 30fps in DODS = 200 fps in CSS. i get no video lagg, im just wondering if everyone else has this issue. i heard a lot of x800s are having this problem

6xAA, HDR MAXED OUT

I'd say thats why you are experiencing the low fps. Try turning them down a notch.

CSS doesnt use HDR! Connection? yes.If I turn off HDR on my 9500Pro I go from 35fps to 50fps. So, it's not something that completely destroys your framerate... even on a relatively weak video card.

On my current rig (upgraded RAM to 2Gb yesterday and bought new monitor  ), i'm doing 1024 x 768 4xAA HDR FULL and 8xAF, smooth here :-\, of course that will all change when I get a new video card this weekend. (Looking at new mobo with SLI and getting a pair of 7800gtx's)
Yes you should not be running 6xAA on DOD lmao, do like 4x dude, or do 1280 x 1024 and 2x, hell do you really need AA with 1280 x 1024? (Maybe if youre a fanatic like me :)) , and as for the HDR, try Bloom.

I do 40-60 FPS with my 6800GT on my 2.4GHz Athlon 64 (3000+ OCed). 1024x768 2xAA/8xAF. I didn't watch my framerate while in battles but it is still smooth.

I wouldn't have it at 6xAA. That will really bring down your framerate.

6xAA + HDR MAXED OUT

[southern accent] That there's your problem right there. [/southern accent]

Try turning it to 4 or 2 aa.

texture filtering is more imiportant than aa.
