Is it mainly based around singleplayer? Because I hate RPGs that have a crappy story (e.g. NWN- I shouldn't have to download custom made maps to hade a great storyline).

Its an RTS and not an RPG. Although being based around a roleplaying game system it has a lot of rpg elements.

I disagree about having to download custom adventures but meh its not for this topic.

I think the focus could be described as blizzards focus with warcraft 3, but I am not sure (16% with bittorrent).

whoops lol - I completely missed the part where you said "RTS" :)
And what I meant with that custom feature comment was that they should have made the storyline good in the first place, even if the community was the main selling point. I didn't mean community content was bad.
