Anyone off? I've managed to score a pair of tickets for about £12 quid each including postage, so I've invited my cousin to come along who's on leave from the Army for 3 weeks. Should be a good night.

Just looking at the train timetable and it makes little sense to me :| looks like it'll be about £16-21 for a return ticket..

Anyway, the support for Travis (http://www.travisonline.com) is Stephen Fretwell (http://www.stephenfretwell.com/) (click his name for URL).. just been checking out some of his songs and they sound petty decent (abeit very mellow)...

Speaking of Mellow, I've also just got some Elbow tickets for September when they're due to release their third studio album!

Yay me!

haha fair enough, i love travis, that will be awesome. They were great at live 8 i thought. And if they record another new single video at that as well i will be incredibly jealous.

heh, I doubt they will do.. the venue only holds 1,200 people... although they have been recording their new album recently, so who knows :)

Oh my god! That gig was ****ing immense! Because the venue was so small Travis had brilliant interaction with the crowd and played a wicked 2 hour set of pretty much greatest hits.. still buzzing from the show, but wow!

Took loads of pics, but only a few turned out okay (one of them being below).. the rest were out of focus.. shame!

Also too loads of vids.. below is a vid I took while they were singing Driftwood if anyone's interested.

What a night!

Yeah. They did 'Why does it...' last and the whole crowd sang it :)

I did manage to snag some video footage of the *only* song they performed that was off their new (unreleased) album if anyones interested... the song is called 'Closer' and a link to the vid I took can be found here (2 minutes, bout 8meg):
