When I drive a car very fast on the highway, everything looks blurry. The blurriness goes away once I slow down a bit.

Is this part of the game (to give you a feel that you are really going that fast), is it a problem with my videocard, or a problem with my LCD?

Everything else is fine.

Hey Go

Well i only own the ps2 version, but when i go extremely fast i get the blur as well, i believe its intended for effect. I quite like it, but theres nothing wrong with your system.

A lot better than that constant blur crap effect they had on the previous two titles

I'm affraid it's a problem between your graphics card and monitor, caused by you driving too fast.

When you reach a certain speed in game your graphics card has to produce the graphics much faster. Unfortunately the signal is transmitted to the monitor at such a speed that it starts to heat up the inside of the display causing it to melt and run, giving the impression of bluring. If you continue to opperate your monitor in this way the monitor will eventually melt all the way through, completely destroying the monitor and possibly harming you or a loved one.

I would advise you to stop playing until you can buy a highspeed compatable monitor. I would link to one but I don't know whether you are in Europe or the States. Another less expensive work around would be for you to not drive any vehicles at all, and revert to foot for getting around.

I hope this helps.

I don't like the effect. I think it kills some of my FPS.

It's the game blurring out all the sexual innuendos.

It's supposed to happen.
