a good and fair review ...if you've been on the fence about this game I urge you to read the review ...it's a fun game and we need to support underdog developers who have more ambitious ideas for fps than just pretty graphics on top of the same tired gameplay

lol, omg 2, i didnt think it was that bad.

on the gs review, yeah i read it earlier, their review seemed spot-on, good concept but buggy/flawed in actuality, the last paragraph summed it up well, could be 1 of the fps's of 2005 with a few patches.

Overall, Boiling Point is a great concept executed poorly. But if Deep Shadows puts some serious work into the upcoming patches (according to the company's Web site, version 2.0 is already in the works), this work-in-progress could evolve into one of the best shooters of 2005 and could become a real inspiration for shooter designers in the future

I think the Eurogamer review summed it nicely. You'll either love (9/10) or loathe it (3/10). This obviously seems to be the case.

Not very promising reviews. At best Boiling Point sounds pretty average .... and why play an average game when there's so many great ones about?

no the game is unlike any game out there ..it's the overall bugs that bring the score down ..the gameplay is fun, the bugs arent

I've seen patches being released, have they fixed anything? I want to get this game but I am holding off until it's not as buggy. I know I wouldn't be able to tolerate the bugs since I have a short fuse when it comes to shit like that.
