View Full Version : GTA San Andreas sound issues
One of the most annoying bugs there are in the Pc verson of gta... is the sound. Sometimes it will randomly cut out (Apart from radio). Subtitles are all well and good, but when the sound cuts out, the subs too do, they show up for about 2 seconds, then flash to the next one (making talking bits from like 5 mins long to 5 seconds).
Very annoying, and doesnt seem to fix itself unless I save, quit and rego into the game. Anyone have this issue and a fix for it?

Hope it helps.

Download a new codec pack. Yesterday I reinstalled X2: The Threat and it kept crashing on specific sound files (requiring restart), so I uninstalled the codec pack I had and installed a new one from the net.
The "k-lite codec pack" (link (http://www.k-litecodecpack.com/)) was the one I had installed while played GTA:SA, so try installing that one.
