i heard that the nvidia 5900 doesnt run half life 2 very good is that true?

hey! that's my job...
i'm always the guy that says "Move this to community support"

but, ur card will run it very smoothly...just not at 1600x1200 with 2x AA ect.

a 5700 can run it with everything on full 1280 x 1024, x16 AS, x8 AA etc, isnt the 5900 a better card?

5700 can't do that...not with proper texture and model settings at least.

If you force DX 9 it can...

I love my 5700. It's been very faithful. But I shall be replacing it soon :(
