Anyone played this game yet? It's looking like it's heading towards some pretty good reviews, so I'm debating getting it for XBOX

Apparently the novelty wears off pretty quickly, and there's not enough depth to keep it interesting. Edge gave it a 6.

I could imagine that; but it does look pretty fun, even if it's only for the first few hours.

It's a THQ game advertised on Sky One on the same spot as all the other THQ flavours of the month, none of them are usually very good.

I dunno, it's one of those games where you're on the fence for me. I'll look at some screenshots and discussion on a forum and think 'Wow, that's really cool!', then I'll see some footage on IGN and it's more of a 'Meh, looks quite boring actually'. Not sure if I'm ready to fork out thirty quid on it yet.

when i was in the store looking at the box of this game, it reminded me of the movie Mars Attacks! :)

"Pandemic" developed it,so it should be quite good.
I think they used the same engine they used for their "Mercenaries" game.

There's ragdoll now though. No ragdoll made me kinda mad in Mercenaries. But it was an awesome game. Insanely fun.
