Suicide bombing!

Whoever played BF1942 is sure to know the suicide bombing technique. You basically loaded a Kübelwagen (wouldn't work with the jeep) full with explosives, drove into a crowd, exit and detonate.

Well, they made it even more effective in BF2. In BF1942, the explosives flew out if you hit a bump too hard (and it only worked in the german jeep) but here they stey in no matter what you do. Pick the special forces class, find a buggy, load it up with the charges and drive into the enemy! Of course, fits best if you pick the Arabs. With the sprint key, you may even survive!

It doesnt always work though. Sometimes your target gets away scot-free while your blown to bits and exploding all over the sky.

I dunno, but maybe I'm different in BF2. Maybe people are only out for themselves, their points, their frags. I'm here for the team. If I would do that, I'd drive into a crowd, and blow it up. I wouldn't try to get out.

I was a Spec Ops and my tank was about to get blown up so I jumped out and these guys were running at me so I through two c4's and detonated. It killed 2 guys and myself.

I generally stick 3 C4's to the front of the MEC buggy (two on the headlights, one in middle) and then one on the hood.

I wait around for a tank or APC with more than one person, and drive full speed into them with the front part hitting it. My buggy explodes, and since it does it sets off the C4 too, killing the enemy vehicle and any nearby troops. I got somewhere around 10 kills at once doing this before, resulting in 9 points (since I died in the process obviously) and it saved the flag from being captured.

It's effective and good if you coordinate with team members on doing it.

The buggy usually doesnt blow up on the first hit though, you hafta damage it a lil first.

Special Forces is the class I am liking the most at this moment, I always pack my jeeps with c4, but I don`t like to explode with my jeep, I just go for a spot full of enemy as fast as I can, the leave the jeep, go for a sprint and blast them! The feeling and rush you get when you survive this attacks is just great.

Whether it be Suicide bombing, or sabotage, C4 is my favourite thing ever :D My favourite trick is landing on the aircraft carrier and putting 3 C4s onto the underside of the BlackHawk. Then you just wait for a full squad to get in and.....BOOM! Your finger slips. You feel such a sense of achievement when doing this :D

lol you really dont need to put it on the underside of the thing.... most squads seem perfectly happy sitting next to or on top of 6 charges of high explosive C4 :laugh:

They get some kills...but it's a waste of time. You're better off trying to capture points.

They should make it so every time you kill yourself with your weaponry (not including crashes) you lose like 2 pts at least.

Yeah, one time I actually put them on the windscreen of the blackhawk, the pilot didn't seem to mind though :laugh:

I think a more satisfying way of setting up traps is getting an APC - rigging with C4 and parking it in the enemies base and leaving it. Eventually someone will get in hopefully with a few others - and BANG :D

I prefer doing that than suicide bombing, but it's a lot trickier.
