Oh and I think its the lighting that makes most peoples computers die. I suggest turning off dynamic lights.


I have everything else on full and it runs fine now (1024 x 768) and I only have a 9800 pro. :)

Yeah, the only other thing on medium is texture filter or something..

And I have no AA unfortunatly. But it still looks damn pretty. :D

Do you mean the game doesnt show servers?


Because if it doesnt delete the movies file in the mods dirrectory of the game. It fixed it for me. :S


If you mean xfire... then sometimes it shows em sometimes it doesnt for me :S


Just ask someone whos playing for the IP. I'm sure they will give it to you :)

I figured it out, Xfire isn't showing their server in the main part it usually does (IE The Map) but it shows the IP if I open a window with them

Its nice when people get the planes who can fly them, as aposed to the spawn campers who TK etc just to get there hands onto a plane, only to crash it three seconds later. Or just fly around and not do anything...

Aww man. We killed each other a lot one game. It was HL2.net squad vs HL2.net squad :P I remember my squad was at the MEC base blowing up commander assets and you were on the runway and you killed me :D

When the MEC HL2.net squad formed we had our work cut out for us. Before that we were just walking all over MEC.

EDIT: I have had absolutely NO problems with players in this game. No teamkillers (that did it on purpose) or smacktards or anything. I suppose I don't wait around for jets or helo's but even when I do happen to beat another player to the pilot's seat the guy doesn't flip out and blow me up.

I've encountered smacktards but it depends on the server.

I was TKed a lot on the EA servers. But I joined some clan servers that had like 40 people and had teamwork and actual good players

I haven't had a problem with TK'ers either. I suppose it just varies from server to server and I've just gotten lucky.

Anyway, I'm making a new account. [HL2.net]Bvasgm. I'm starting to get tired of having to explain that I'm from HL2.net every time I try and join the squad.

Also, this game is awsome when you work as a squad. So much better than everyone just running around doing random crap like in every other FPS out there.

I just use Shakermaker. But if I form squads, I call em HL2.NET, so they're easy to spot.

Redundant, Dalamari, and I and a few other players have a kind of official squad, but we don't put [HL2.NET] in our names, just the squad name. Since I'm technically in [WWX] already.
