People who are having problems with completing a download or corrupted files; what browser do you use and which sites are you downloading form?
I'd like to know because I tried downloading on this computer with firefox and it worked but when I tried with IE on another computer it keeps telling me that the server is maxed out. So I'm thinking, maybe theres a problem with firefox, somehow it says its connected but ends up not downloading, or something.

it should be inside the temp folder.

Try a search. you might get lucky. It might have ended up in your temp internet files. Also, did you possible delete in a rage? check Recycle Bin.

I tried to uncompress it with both winxp and winrar and it seemed to hang but the HD made that crackly noise that it does when its reading/writing. It looked like it might have crashed cause the progress bar didn't move. I left it for a few minutes with fingers crossed and when I came back it was uncompressed and ready to install.

So I should use Winrar?

I used WindowsXPs built in winzip support but if you don't use WinXP, winrar is the next best option. Just remember to give it a while even if it looks like its not working.
