This is what has been posted:

As of 11:40am BST today, the expectation is that the demo will not be available today as it has yet to pass final stage testing.

The demo is anticipated to release tomorrow at which point it will only be available on Gamespot for "Gamespot Complete" subscribers.

The full open-to-all release of the demo is expected next week. We do not have a fixed day for this release at this time.

Great news! :) I'm pretty screwed though, I've either got to attempt playing with a Ti4200 (which I'm sure in unsupported, annoying though as it's a lot better than an old 5600 I had), or on my dads computer which doesn't have the internet. He's got a decent set up though, 9800 Pro. Unless I stick in my wireless internet card for a little bit, I think I'll be playing all night :D

There's tons of people online right now. Its a Friday and people usually take days off for a three day weekend. C'mon EA!!!

Or maybe now would be a good time to release it seeing how there isn't as many people on as there would be around 4-5:00pm PST. Some people could download it now and the rest whenever they come home from work or school that way there wouldn't be a huge rush to get it from Gamespot.
