hi i just got garry mod 8.2 i think just yesterday and have been messing about with it a lot just burning things with the ignitor and all the rest but im starting to get a bit bored with that i was just wondering 2 things

1) how do you pose people in certain postions and give them funny expressions???

2) how do you spawn living NPC's??? i have always wanted a group of antlions to go and slaughter Dr Breen or that son of a b**ch the Gman! :p

1) how do you pose people in certain postions and give them funny expressions???
The physics gun is your tool for that. Left-click while aiming at what you want to move, it'll grab it and you'll see a blue line shoot out and touch the object, Then, by aiming walking, move it to where you want to be. Then you can rotate the arm/leg, whatever by holding down the use key while you still have the object grabbed. Finally, lock it in place by right-clicking while you have the left mouse button still down, and immediately let go of left click. Every segment of people's body is a separate entity to rotate, pose, and lock in place. Expressions are another matter altogether, I don't have the energy to type all that.

You can do that any time, even in the unmodded game. Check out this thread:

I almost had a n00bulon attack from reading this thread. But then I started watching cartoons. Yeh, DL the UGM it is VERY fun, as for the posing....YUO NOT ALLOWED TO PRESS 1 THREE TIMES AND USING THE PHYS GUN!

If you go to the official gmod forum, here (http://forums.facepunchstudios.com/index.php?), you can get quicker technical help and custom spawn menus. I like Reaper's better than UGM.
