Falling Tanks

Hey everybody. I've got a flash movie this time.

This was inspired by the Physics Chip's ability to use the soft body deformation physics technology. The purpose was to both improve my animating ability, and show anybody who is naive what to expect from the Physics Chip.

I plan to add more tanks, sounds, and cinematic effects (zooming in and slo-motion and such)

So... Let me know what you think.

Edit: Oh I forgot. Each tank focuses on a different ability. The first shows deforming and small details, the second shows gravity of things, and the third shows tilting. All are pretty difficult to get to look right.

Edit2: I should also mention that each frame is hand animated. No physics engine was used in the making of this film :p

Thats pretty awesome...you should make some sort of tank game..where you drive tanks off cliffs...

I wish I could, but like I said, this doesn't use a physics engine, it's all hand animated... So a game where you choose where to fall and such wouldn't really work.

Wait 'til the next gen consoles come out, or the Physics Chip comes for the PC. You will have your share of games like this :D

I just mean, if you could use those animations in a flash game somehow, it would be cool because theyre very well done. I dont know too much about making games in flash so I dont know if thats difficult to do with premade animations...just saying it would look neat. :thumbs:

I love that game! It kept me entertained for hours when I first found it. I know what you mean, at first, I thought I could control the tanks (I didn't really read the post :) ) and that came to mind.
