What is everyones XFIRE name so we can organize everything correctly for BF2. Also say whether you are from Europe (or anywhere besides the US) or US. Also say whether you are in the clan or you just want to have fun.
Also include whether you would like to drive vehicles (including flying ones) or just man the weapons or tag along.

Oh also add what role you want to be...2 roles maximum if you cant decide.

Gulf of Oman is under the MEC vs. US category.

It's not exactly what we're looking for :P An ideal overhead map would be an image of the commander view with all the vehicles. From this image all we can do is plan what points to hit first...

but what I didn't exactly mean "draw" literally. I just meant that it could be our beginning routine for me to jump in a blackhawk, fly x squad to y point then proceed to give cover fire with a mounted minigun or something (if the UH-60 in BF2 has one) while you fly another squad to z point etc.

It could be a lot more organized than everyone just doing their own thing in the very beginning while commander position is being filled and squads are being set up.

They're a very comfortable fit (although I initially put them on the wrong way round because of their build, then realised that the microphone would drop down to the back of my head), with extra padding for the bracket at the top of the head. Incredibly light, and you can push the microphone into a vertical position when you're not using it, so it's very inobtrusive.

The microphone itself is near-crystal clear, the noise-cancelling feature really works well. The mic is positioned off to the left of your mouth, and not in-front, which is better, and it's about an inch away from your mouth.

They do a fairly good job of blocking external noise out, but they're not fully over-the-ear headphones. That said, they do a pretty bad job of containing the noise itself, heh... the bass is very meaty and sound quality is very clear indeed. These + my iRiver = heaven.

Definitely recommend them, especially when they're £40 at komplett, and 60 elsewhere.

I had the P130 and the mic was about the same distance as yours and I couldn't hear my self talk with the mic.

most mics on headsets sit slightly to the side of your mouth, not in front of it, this gets rid of the *hissing/air* sound from when you talk or breathe.

I tend to speak more like an American, as a lot of Americans could not understand me sometimes my accent was so thick.

so I conciously emulate the accent. (wich you can probably hear in the before mentioned clip)
and I LOATHE when people tell me I sound australian, I don't even like the ozzy accent (no offense, but it's weird when people tell me I sound like you guys)

hey does the bf2 demo work for you guys in Xfire? what I mean is when one of your buddies on Xfire is in a server, does it show him in the server and give you the ability to right click his name and join game?

for me, I can only see that they are in bf2 demo, it doesn't have all the info it usually does. but it does show the server ip on the right windows, but still it sucks compared to what i know xfire is capable of

My little brother got 2142 for christmas (passing on the torch ^__^) and it's definitely cool, but it's no BF2. A huge part of the reason I loved BF2 was the feel of the weapons, and with all these futuristic guns, they all feel generic. Still, it's fun.

That's how I am, but I just can't enjoy it. I played with Uriel last night, and had a bit of fun, but eh, the maps just got annoying for me, especially karkand.
