I bought The Cosmic Game by the Thievery Corporation today. What a great album to start the weekend with. I like the way these guys mix genres and styles. This album's main focus seems to be Brasilectro, but it's also trip-hop, bossa nova, dancehall, reaggae, asian and more. Above all it's very relaxed. Another great TC-album is The Mirror Conspiracy. There are some wicked tunes on that CD (try Lebanese Blond; it's easily availble on most torrents). In the shop section of their label's website <LINK (http://www.eslmusic.com/index.asp)> you can listen to quite a lot of their tracks. Anyone else on these forums familiar with the Corporation?

Yep. It's from their album The Outernational Sound.

I love these guys, like you said they blend alot of genres in an amazing way.

My favourite albums are DJ Kicks and The Mirror Conspiracy.

Have you heard any of the tracks from the new album yet? My favs so far:

tr. 2 Warning Shots (trippy dancehall track)
tr. 4 The Cosmic Game (very mellow, typical TC)
tr. 7 Pela Janela (made me think of Bebel Gilberto with more electronics)
tr. 12 Doors of Perception (it starts of with a soundscape with tabla's and sitars, and then the drums kick in; best track of the album)
tr. 16 A Gentle Dissolve (the dreamy last track of the album; sounds a bit like Air)

This is the best album I've bought this year.
