Not a big fan. Music's ok but not my taste. I hate Ska. Worst genre of music in my opinion.

Not bad, saw them live in a small place in Providence where they were opening for Flogging Molly. Good and fun, but they got shown up. :D

I used to be really into them. But only Keasby Nights, I stopped liking them when the old singer left. And I'm also not a fan of ska anymore, although they definitely added something interesting to the genre
Its all about Streetlight Manifesto man I remember when they came here with MU330 and VGS. Everyone was jumping and skanking and the walls and columns were shaking I was surprised the club didn't like collaspe. But Catch 22 is ok never saw them live but I dont like there new stuff at all

I totally do not understand Streetlight Manifesto. They sound EXACTLY like new Catch 22 but with an acoustic guitar. I hate them

you must not of hear any of their stuff because they arent just acoustic...
and when did the singer from catch 22 leave? because i notice that the singer of streetlight manifesto and catch 22 have like identical voices..
so pretty much anyone know where he went?

I'm pretty sure the original singer of Catch 22 left because he had a kid and all that family jazz (but don't quote me on that, I vaguely remember reading it somewhere). And the new singer in Catch 22 and Streetlight Manifesto are the same person, which confuses me even more: why have a second band that sounds EXACTLY like your other band?
And you're right, I haven't heard much Streetlight Manifesto. I was actually mentioning the acoustic thing as a saving point for them, but thanks for making me dislike them even more ;p

I love their old stuff but Dinosaur sounds sucks. Streetlight Manifesto is my favorite band though. I also saw them with MU330 (VGS pulled out because of a death in the family).

who are you talking about catch 22 or streetlight manifesto, no they are not nearly that old, they formed like 7-8 years ago, not too sure about streetlight manifesto i think they are newer

Could they not think of an original name or something?

I'm pretty sure catch has been around since the mid ninties but they didn't get popular until around 2000 with Keasbey Nights. Streetlight came out with their first album in 2003. If you like both of these bands I would recommend checking out Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution. Same guys as in Streetlight plus like five more people, and though they play mostly the same songs as streetlight, it's all acoustic with violins and chelloes (however you spell it) and other crap you wouldn't expect to hear in a ska band.
