Well I have a bit of a dillenma...dilema...dillema...problem. I have to do this English project for my finals so in order to pass I need to make a movie preview on this book I read. Everything is good except one thing....I have no music. Every possible idea I've had does not match the theme for my book. So now, being desperate as I am, I have decided to turn to the general public and ask what they think would be a good song for my book. My book is a sci-fi/action/thriller movie called Prey. If anyone has any ideas would they please post ASAP?

Try some NIN or something. I don't know why that came to mind other than I've been listening to their new CD lately. They got some catchy stuff. Maybe some of their older, edgier industrial stuff would work?

Rip off some music from Half-life!
No, I'm not kidding-- Half-life is in the sci-fi/action/thriller gener and its music is perfect for it. Get gfcscape and find and extract a song you think fits.
Or you could listen to latin_jones...

Vangelis - Blade Runner Blues, it's the Blade Runner theme, it's futuristic sounding.
Or some classical music like Bach or someone. It depends on whether you're aiming for ambient music or something a little more "in your face".

Requiem for a Dream always works, either that or the song from Top Gun

How long is it?
How does it start?
How does it end?
What feelings are there being conveyed throughout the trailer?

Good job. Did you use "Hope Overture" or the "Beginning of the End"?
