Exporting to hammer

I've just loaded a map up and hit export to hammer to give it a try. Where do these files get exported to? Should they get exported directly to hammer or into a dir somewhere? Do they use the same name as the map for the filename? In other words i cant find what it's sposed to have exported. Any ideas?

I believe you need to have hammer running with the map you are running with Garry's Mod already loaded.

Oh rite. I assumed it exported the whole map. I dont think you can open cs_office in hammer can you?

nope and if you decompiled it would not work beacuse not same ver as orignal

Ok. well garrys mod aside, could i decompile the map and recompile in hammer? I once read about a decompiler but i think it said that decompiled maps cannot be recompiled.

hmm most of them can't you would be lucky to find one that does :P
