Garrys mod not workn...HELP!

I just got garry's mod and installed it, but when i try 2 play it it says somthin like "failed with error 114: cache needs decryption"

Try uninstalling it, redwonloading it, then installing it again. That is all the advice I can give...

My Garry's Mod tilts when I click the map button to start the game. Any info how to fix this?

you need to run hl2 dm and cs:s each atleast once before playing gmod.

I'm getting the same problem. I don't play HL2DM or CS:S, but I'll run them once to get Garry's Mod 8 v3b working. :)
