Alright, I didn't do so well with my last sketch so i tried doing someone that we all know and I spent alot more time on this one.

looks nice, but the nose looks a bit to long.(vertically long)

That is pretty awesome, man.

I think you could work on the mouth a bit (I FRIGGIN' HATE MOUTHS! ;)), and also the end of the nose and the shading to show the nose's depth. But it is recognizable as Tom Cruise, and it is really great. Keep it up :)

What Erestheux said. Also, the entire lower half of his face looks a bit too wide.

Still, I applaud you on a job well-done. Faces are hard :(

It's a very good drawing of a person, but I have to agree with other that it doesn't much resemble tom cruise. Probably the mouth, like everyone else said.
Cruise looks more squirreley. This guy just looks like a normal dude, although he does look vaguely familiar. Like a low-budget celebrity who's always in the background of every movie.

It's way better than the last sketch, so keep up the pace! With this realistic-looking dude, it's only a matter of time before you can capture precise likenesses.

Nice drawing, I'm still not a HUGE fan of your line quality but it's obviously improved. Also, try to just go with crosshatching next time because softshading with a light pencil makes the picture look less clean.

I'm not dead. I'll be coming home each weekend so I'll post something up each saturday. I'm in the middle of drawing the former Ratzinger so i'll get back to that.
