I don't know why but every time I hear a Coral album for the first time I can't help but think it's the worst thing I've ever heard.

But by the third listen it suddenly becomes a brillant piece of work. Their style is like nothing I've ever heard before yet it always seems to have changed with every new album. And yet there still enough of it remaining to win me around again.

Their new album, Invisible invasion is no different. I'm on my fourth listen now and every track is a cracker! I'm really loving So Long Ago and The Operator.

Anyone else heard the album yet?

There are a few good tracks on there, such as So Long Ago and Late Afternnon, but it`s not really a consistant album, which is something I`ve found with the other Coral albums, for some reason I always buy them though (well, except for that album they did that no singles were released from, didn`t bother with that).

Songs like Dreaming Of You, Pass It On, Bill Mcai etc are really good, shame they can`t keep it going over 11 tracks.

Still a great band though, and rather good live :)
