I looked around and there wasn't a bragging thread yet... so...

Anyone else care to share?
You're all probably much better than me.

I deleted my screens folder the other day, but mostly was of me holding a 1 for 1 ratio. Which is pretty good I think.

1) we have had these before...
2) you've got nothing to brag about...playing 6 vs. 4 with all the n00bs on one team...good for you....ass.

That ratio in an official match or a real clan vs. clan pcw would be good, on pulic it's just sad posting it ;)

Bragging about a video game score, wow we've hit a new low.

That it's in a game doesn't matter. A score is a score in that matter. It's who you get it versus that matters (if it's good or not), but bragging in general is pretty low.

I dunno, but Deathmatch can be shockingly easy sometimes. The first match I played i had a 2:1 kd ratio.

Yeah, yea, it's all full of noobs  :P
Lotta good players out there tbh. Reckon you're a cut above the rest? Well I'm always down for a challenge, I'm not the best, but I think I do ok.

It's all down to how good your opposition is. You can hit the pubs and get 40 kills and 3 deaths, or 1:1..
The tuffer the fight the better, from these you learn. It is a satisfying feeling to do really well, but you can be brought back down to earth with a bump when the tables turn on you.
There is always the potential that someone out there is better.
The main thing is that you enjoy it whatever the outcome.

There have been people with '400 to 2' scores and such like mate lol. I gave up trying to play for score alone long ago. Though my personal best is somewhere around 200 to 30, racked up on dm_avalon (great map that).

Haha. You think that's good? Against n00bs?
Play me sometime. :)

The tables are dangerous though. I've gotten killed by one by only walking close to it and accidentaly touching it several times ;) yeah a bit off topic, but it's true.

Hmmm... definitely not. If I were to photoshop a score, it'd be something like 138-4
Yep, I mean, who would fake a score like THAT against total nubs?? Honestly! :p

Sociological Theory 1: If you put yourself down, then everyone else shoves you further down into the dirt and tramples all over your face.
Sociological Theory 2: We can't go 3 days without finding a new low.
Sociological Theory 3: Every image on the interweb is photoshopped.
Sociological Theory 4: I really, really need to think before i post.

Eh...I don't care about KDs because DM is not about how many times you died now is it? The best score I remember getting was 107 frags in a 10 minute session. Was fairly populated, 11 or so players I think though.

That sounded smart. The more you die, the more frags your opponent usually get ;) Unless you suicide which just gives you less frags :D

True, and true. But deaths aren't counted in Quake3\Doom3 and etcetera, HL2DM is the only game I play that does from what I know of, other than UT2004. General consensus is only thing that really matters is frags in a DM.

Pity. I like Kill/Death Ratios.

My best Kill/Death Ratio with 1 death would probably be about 16/1. 25/0 is probably my best score.
I really don't care, because if I were to fight actual professionals, I'd likely have a 1/1 Ratio.

They don't count it in the scoreboard, but that wasn't my point. In all those games the more deaths you get, the more frags the opponent gets, unless of course you keep suiciding or get teamkilled.

Eh, you're right. I know if somebody shoots you just before you suicide in UT2004 then they get your frag. So yeah, I lose this argument.
