Im trying to move away from RPGs since i've played way too many lately, Im looking for a new RTS game to play, I havent really played anything except Starcraft and Age Of Empires. Im looking for really good multiplayer, and a smooth feel, I dont really care much about graphics, In fact, im thinking of playing starcraft again.

Ive been looking at Empire Earth II, I would like some opinions though, so if any of you can reccomend me something then shoot.

Warcraft 3 and its Exp. pack.

Great storyline and just plain fun in single-player. Dont know about MP though

For MP in Wc3 and TFT there is a nice auto match making system(ladder), and it's mp is overall quite nice but what really makes it great is its custom maps(Starcrafts "UMS"). The editor is far better than a Starcraft Mod & Map tools.(Blows Staredit\Starforge\Scmdraft 2 out of the water)(I use to map\mod for sc).

Anyway Wc3 is a solid game for any RTS fan. With tons of customs like sc, the community can always make a map that will keep you playing and playing.

Basically the Total War games made all other strategy games redundant :D

I totally NOT liked wc3 but thats just a matter of taste.
- I love C&C generals + zero hour
- Rome: total war (maybe?)
- age of empires 3

i didnt like warcraft 3 that much. same with act of war, i downloaded the demo but i found it hard to get into.

Wc3 itself isn't the best but the Customs well...are the best :).

Keep an eye out for the upcoming Company of Heroes game, that looks awesome.

And Act of War 2, too. Thats brilliant.

wc3 was terribly boring. Any c&c game is loads of fun, I have RA2 chucking about somewhere.
