View Full Version : Didn't Valve promise something about Aftermath this week?

Next week we'll be releasing the three HL2DM map contest winners on Steam. The winners of the contest along with some images of the maps were first mentioned here. Also next week, we'll have a small sneak peak for you of the upcoming Half-Life 2 episode "Aftermath".

Did I miss something? Did they release anything?

I guess Friday isn't quite over yet......

They generally don't update Steam on the weekends.

I'm almost positive "this week" means this BUSINESS week. Which is almost over.

They typically make their News updates at 5pm PST.. It's only 3:30 PST right now, so give 'em an hour and a half. They have yet to miss a single weekly update so they're probably due for being late.

The updates used to be Thursday night, and for the last 3 or 4 updates they were Friday nights. So it should be today that they release there weekly news. The thing on Aftermath will probably be a 30 sec to a minute Bink video, or a 3 lines of info on it :E

Has anyone noticed that you can go in the last level of Half-Life2 and find the exact spot that pic was taken, along with the stalker(or what ever he is) and the Combine Guard guy?

So, its nothing new... and notice, hes not holding a new gun either :(...

However, it was confirmed that you'll be playing as Gordon Freeman; it said that it's the continuation of Gordon Freeman's adventures.

but you can continue with someone else...it needs to be said "you will be playing as gordon freeman"
