I, for one hope that Breen and Grigori return. Because Breen was one of the most masterfull villians i have even eno****ered... he ran on power, and... actually, when you think about it, he wasn't that powerful. But he was well acted. REally well acted. And who can forget that classic line ''You will be destroyed in every way that is possible and in some that are, theoretically, IMPOSSIBLE."

I hope Breen makes a return. For the other ones, I'm pretty sure. Kleiner, Mossman, Eli, Barney and Dog are either in the Citadel or near it when HL2 ends, so they should be somewhere there. Gregori will probably not return. But HL2 ending left an opportunity for Breen to still be alive, though it's not very likely, but I want to see him again in some way. Of course, the GMan - I want to be on the lookout for GMan sightings again. What a great character.

He's got the perfect face for a frontman, with just enough malice to tell you he needs to take a crowbar to the genitals.
And he is masterfully written, I don't think I've ever wanted to hear a bad guy's eloquent yammering about instinct any more than with he.

Breen (Though I doubt we've seen the last of him)

Shepherd (Dream on. Whatever petty legality issues might exist, there's a whole realm of pointlessness behind bringing back a "character" that begins and ends at having a different coloured HUD to everyone else).

Odessa (Pointless bit part, probably won't be back)

Grigori (I would pay good money to not have to return back to Boredomville again. Or was it Ravenholm? This guy won't leave, and it's pointless us going back)
