Sound annoyance

Ever since I installed my new sound card, the Css audio settings default to 5.1 'surround' speaker setup, but I would like it to be on 2 speakers setup.. can I add something to my autoexec file to remedy this ? cheers ! :cheers:

In the menu, goto options, sound, and select 2 speakers lol :angel:

Uh yeah, but I have to do it every time I play because it resets its self all the time..

You probably have your windows settings set to surround.
CS will use whatever settings you are using for windows.
I have a tray icon for "audioHQ" for my soundblaster card, but if you don't have a program running, just go to "control panel>sounds and audio devices" or whatever its called depending on what version you are running.
