I think it would be awesome. SLAMs would be so much fun in Single Player, don't you agree?

I think this is a big possibility. I wouldn't see Valve putting this awesome weapon to waste. I already have an idea of how it can come into the storyline: Now that major defenses are down for City 17, you must now create your own defenses with the SLAM to protect yourself and others from the invading Xen aliens. Of course this won't hold them all off, considering that City 17 will be "another thing."

What's a SLAM?

SLAM: Trip mines/Satchel Charges for HL2:DM.

I'd love to see them in singleplayer.

I haven't played DM in a while...what maps are then in?

Doubt it, but we'll see.

It's in overwatch, steamlab and probably any map that's come out in the last month or so.

It's a great weapon too. Since it's already made and ready to go, there's no reason not to put it in aftermath, unless the AI can't deal with them.

I never used any trip mines or satchel charges in the original Half-Life or it's expansions. I just think it would be pointless unless they made it so that you really did have to use them.
