my friend and i also keep getting this same error, where my brother, who's computer is in the same house as mine DOESNT get the error
anyone got a fix?

just restart steam every time it happens. doesnt happen to much after you restart steam though

My brother had the same problem earlier today, according to the FAQ on steam it might help if you delete the ClientRegistry.blob located in valve\steam dir and restart steam. In his case it worked fine :afro: .
