every time a grenade is thrown then I get kicked.

try validating files, someone in another thread said that it worked.

Can you detail the process to 'Validate files'?

EDIT: I'm pretty sure it happened with no nades thrown...

Thanks... My last kick resulted in the blue screen of death... That's the first time I ever saw that while NOT at work. LOL

Do you know that for certain or are you guessing?

I thought in the past that we got a message if the server was running a different version...

The validation didnt help... I'm getting in and playing long enough to buy, and run 50 yards then it's back to console or hard crash.

I reckon its to do with the servers not us....they havent been reset to take advantage of the update. Try making your own server with bots and u will see that u can throw grenades and everything and the game will not crash. I have been able to play on a few UK servers and not be kicked or the game crash. I guess we just need to give them time and the servers will reset with the update. Anyone have any ideas on this???

thats my take on it aswell, been booted a few times now or got a CTD. And check out the servers, I know several of my usual haunts that are usually choca at this time are surprisingly low on numbers. Gotta be a server side issue, looks like it's time for a bit of t'internet poker while I go cold turkey:E

i validated and it worked fine afterwards, but i was being kicked beforehand

Steam started updateing again (20 minutes later)... Either it wasn't finished the first time or something else was going on.

for a while i got good old, "your version differs from the servers" errors...i almost cried when i saw that old error. But all is well now

Yeah... That's what happened to me... After the second broken wrench (Update) I got the version error reports when joining servers, and it worked for the ones that let me in.
