I play online quite alot, but one thing that has elduded me is the Radio messages. I know the z,x,c radio menus, but some guys have got speech like "Theres a Sniper" and "One left". One guy said it was bot speak, but I've seen humans use it. Just wondering how you do it ;)

With z x and c you can say default programmed messages. You only have to press the key and the number. You can also bind a key to voicechat. I believe the default key is K in source but I'm not sure. If you have a microphone, you can speak to your team with it. Bots also do this, but they have programmed lines like "sniper" etc.
Just wondering - could you record your own radio messages, e.g. as .wav files, and bind them to a key to play them? Effectively expanding the radio message menu.

You could but others wouldn't be able to hear them.

I know how radio works, etc. But Ive seen humans use those preprogrammed bot messages as Radio messgaes effectively. I just wondered how to do it. :)

You could record your own sound, bind a key to that soundfile, have your speakers on, and then use voicechat to transmit it. But you might aswell say it yourself then ;)

But couldn't you just find the root folder of the bot speak and bind those files to a key, and as everyone has got them, they'll be able to hear it too?
Thanks for the help so far ;)
